(BOISE, ID) Oracle Corp. recently honored database developer Justin Cave,
a Boise native, with an Oracle Technology Network (OTN) Community Award, based on Caves significant
contributions and activity in the Oracle communities, user groups, and peer
groups. Out of the 3 million OTN members, only 8 were selected to receive the
award.
I couldnt be more pleased. I really enjoy reading and
posting to the forums and theyve definitely helped me grow as a developer. But
I never expected to be recognized in this way for my contributions. Its a real
honor, said Cave.
The OTN Community Awards is a new program that Oracle will debut at this weeks OracleWorld in San Francisco. Cave and the other winners were offered an
expense-paid trip to the annual event. While there, the honorees will attend an
awards ceremony and party and be invited to share their experiences at chalk
talks, and guru chats.
We feel that the members are the most vital aspect of the OTN community, said
Andrew Carr, senior director, Oracle Technology Network. They are key to
enhancing their fellow members experience by offering their practical and
useful advice. We are pleased to to honor and thank this select group of
members for their outstanding contribution to the Oracle community.
Cave, a graduate of Borah High School, received a B.S. in
computer science and physics from the Massachussetts Institute of Technology
(MIT) in 1998. At DDBC, he specializes in designing and developing database and
web applications.
Amongst our team and the clients we work with, we all
recognize Justin as a first-rate consultant. But its nice to see him get some
recognition outside our immediate circles, said Ken Gibson, President of
DDBC.

and development, application development, data warehousing, and systems
integration services to local and national clients, including Fortune 500
