Our People

The DDBC team consists of formally trained, experienced experts in their respective disciplines. Almost all of our consultants have at a minimum a computer science degree and 10 years experience consulting. To complement our technical expertise, our consultants also possess diverse business experience in a number of vertical industries, including high-tech, banking/finance, retail, and natural resources.

 

Executive Team

Ken Gibson, President

Ken has spent the last 19 years designing, developing, and implementing client/server enterprise applications for companies such as Hewlett-Packard, Micron Technology, and Merrill Lynch. Ken began his career as an R&D engineer at high-tech start-up Extended Systems, Inc. in 1989. There he researched, designed, and developed a wide variety of software for the company’s RDBMS. After two years at ESI, Ken began a four-year stint at Micron Technology, where he led a team of software engineers in the analysis, design, and development of image and document management systems. Ken later served as a consultant for HP, where he was the primary DBA for multiple Sybase 11 SQL and Replication servers. Ken then went on to found DDBC in 1997. Ken has an M.B.A. from Boise State University and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Idaho.

 

Regina Domerese, Vice President

Regina has planned, executed, and led a wide variety of system implementations, systems integration, data warehousing, Decision Support Systems (DSS) and Executive Information Systems (EIS) initiatives spanning multiple industries. Her involvement in major systems development projects has included management, requirements definition, detailed design, tool evaluation, tool recommendation, development, implementation, installation, documentation and education for such companies as Wells Fargo, American Express, Merrill Lynch, Adobe, and Hewlett-Packard. She has experience with several programming languages and computer platforms. She also has ten plus years discharging project management functions including facilitating chartering sessions, managing multi-million dollar budgets, scope, detailed requirements, work breakdown structure and schedule, predecessor network, resource assignment, estimates and commitments, critical path analysis, team leadership, tracking and status reporting, technology transfer and project closure. Prior to joining DDBC, Regina worked as a manager of systems integration for a “big four” consulting company, a senior systems development programmer analyst and project leader for Dayton Hudson (Target). Regina received a B.S. in Computer Science and Minor in Mathematics from California State University, Hayward.
